Manufactured by LG Display, the LP116WH7-SPC1 uses in-plane switching technology to maintain consistent colour and contrast at the extreme off-axis angles inherent to tablet-mode sharing and stylus-based annotation workflows. Its LED backlight assembly provides 250 nits of peak brightness, sufficient for indoor office environments, and connects to the system board via a 30-pin embedded DisplayPort connector with a dual-stage digitiser layer that supports simultaneous pen and touch input.
